The family of Sally Wickstrom is saddened to announce the passing of their beloved wife and mother on August 26, 2005 at Peace Arch Memorial Hospital. Sally was born in Dominion City, Manitoba on September 9th, 1939 to Agnus and Burt Waters, the fifth oldest of twelve children.
Sally is survived by her husband, Donald, three of her four children, Kathy, Gordon and Daniel, with her daughter Donna recently passing before her. May they finally be together in the arms of God. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren, Robert and Willam Duncan, Christine and Mark Vollrath, Brandon and Michael Wickstrom, and Millisa Pohto. Brothers and sisters, Linda Zeiger, Jean Thornton, Betty Landry, Norma McLure, Dorothy Yttri and Richard, Kenneth, Robert, David and Norman Waters will all greatly miss her carefree spirit. May she be be safe and happy.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Sointula graveyard at 2:00 pm with coffee and lunch served at the Sointula Seniors Hall afterward. The family requests that instead of flowers donations be made to either the Sointula Graveyard Fund or the British Columbia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
