Tom “C” passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his two wonderful sons: Matthew, 26 (Sam), Jacob, 22; sisters: Heather Forester (Larry) and Holly Celeste; nieces: Julia and Natalie; nephews: Bryan, Jason, Adrian, Michael and Kevin. Various in-laws and an outlaw or two. He is also survived by and will be dearly missed by his soulmate, Andrea Walters
and his (ex) wife, Barb.
Tom was born in Calgary, Alberta and grew up in Vancouver. He moved to Port Hardy in 1979. Tom’s working life included logging, commercial fishing, entertaining the crew at Seafood Products Cannery for many years, and deckhanding on the tugs. Tom loved being on the water, whether it was on his floathouse or sailboat, fishing with his boys or kneeboarding at the lake.
He charmed many with his quick smile and sense of humour and those he leaves behind can rest assured that he is now sailing in calm waters under clear skies.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Legion on Sunday, March 28th @ 1:00 p.m.
