January 6, 1925-July 7, 2007Walter passed away peacefully at West Coast General
Hospital in Port Alberni, B.C. after a long battle with both diabetes and heart problems. His boisterous laughter and jovial attitude will be greatly missed by many. Walter was a loving husband, father, poppa and friend. He is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Nora (Ivan), sons Hans, Norbit and Vladas, stepdaughters Kris (Bob), Debbie (Murray), Linda (Tim) and grandchildren Ivan (Cheryl), Cary, Matt, Jon, Josh, Janine, Travis, Kelly and Michael.
