After a brief struggle with cancer Wayne was “Promoted to Glory”
with his family by his bedside
in the Port Hardy hospital
Monday, June 16, 2008.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 36 years Donna, and daughter Tanya of Campbell River, grandchildren: David, Mitch, Mason and their father Mitch Claybourn, Sayward; sisters Babe - Campbell River, Sharon - Sudbury, Ontario, Dollina - Parry Sound, Ontario, Gert - Noble, Ontario; brothers, Frank - Toronto, Ontario, Edward - Toronto, Ontario, Elton - Barry, Ontario, Gordon - Parry Sound, Ontario.
Predeceased by his parents - Amanda & Harold
Many friends with special mention to the Walkus Family, Port Hardy & Hans Gloslee & Ron Woods of Campbell River.
Wayne was a hard working man employed for over 35 years at Westmin Mines & BC Forest Products.
