William Bruce (Bill) Harvey
With sadness we announce the passing of William Bruce (Bill) Harvey at the age of 63 on July 8, 2006. Bill was predeceased by his mother Doreen Rosenthal in 1990 and father Ralph Harvey in 1990. He is survived his children Cindy (Robin), Robert, Wayne (Sarah) and grandchildren Tyler, Bradley, Alyssa; brothers Dave (Coby), Bruce and sisters Judy (Jim), Sheri (Lyle); four nieces, three nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends.
Born in Duncan, BC, August 22, 1942. Raised in Youbou and Victoria, Bill served 3 years with the army and then took up a career as a butcher, opening his own shop in Duncan. After a few years he moved to Port Hardy where he found his love for living off the land and sea. He never looked back or ever wanted to leave his home and all his friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held July 22, 2006 at 3pm at the Port Hardy Legion with reception to follow. No flowers by request.
