Efforts in vain?

I have been fundraising very hard ... and now the trip cancelled because of the teachers association.

Dear editor:

To the Teachers Association:

I have been fundraising very hard and putting lots of effort into every single last penny for Camp Homewood.

And now the trip cancelled because of the teachers association.

The teachers association said this strike was for us students, but now this strike is taking away our biggest and happiest school moment of the year.   I think this is unfair to all students (and) the parents looking forward to assisting their children.

I and all my fellow Grade 5 students shouldn’t have to suffer the consequences.

Sincerely,

Megan Griffith
