Loci in a sad state

Visitor argues the Locomotive 113 should go to Alberni.

Dear editor,

Recently I was in your area. I remember the Alberni Heritage Society attempted to bring home the (Locomotive) 113 to her original home in Port Alberni. These people do amazing work second to none. I remember the people of Woss wouldn’t let her go.

I stopped in last Friday to see her. Still sitting and still rotting into disrepair. Such a sad, sad ending for a wonderful Alberni locomotive.

What reason do they have for leaving that loci to rot?

Just a sad state; she should be brought home and refurbished like many other pieces this amazing organization has done.
