Port Hardy athlete qualifies for Special Olympics Summer Games

Markus Geisler from Port Hardy has qualified to compete in the Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games, this year hosted by Kamloops July 7-8.

Geisler is the first North Island athlete to ever qualify for these Games.

Markus is a swimmer and will tentatively be competing in two or three events.
