The 422 Transport and Rescue Squadron of the Canadian Armed Forces landed in a local schools lawn Nov. 9. The armed forces then gave a presentation to Avalon Adventist Junior Academy, or what is also known as Avalon Adventist Christian Academy now, for Remembrance Day.
