The body of a salmon shark that was discovered Nov. 23, by local resident Norm Flanagan, underwent several knives last week at the DFO offices where an necropsy was performed on the seven-footer that was inadvertantly caught in a fisherman’s net. Several children from local schools were invited to see the shark and witness the procedure.
