The annual Port Hardy Autism Awareness Walk was held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, outside of the Port Hardy Visitor Information Centre parking lot.

Following the walk there was a BBQ at the Applewood Ford parking lot, where all donations raised went to the North Island Community Services Society Community Links and the North Island Crisis and Counselling Centre Society’s family support programs.

These two organizations are partnering to provide educational programs for children, youth, and adults with support needs.
