PORT HARDY—Locals came out to the track at Port Hardy Secondary School last weekend for the annual Terry Fox Run to raise funds for the Terry Fox Foundation.

This year saw 26 participants walk or run laps around the oval, raising more than $650 for the cancer charity. The run is non-competitive and participants choose their pace and distance.

Each year the event is held across the country to commemorate the iconic cancer victim and his Marathon of Hope.
