Highland dancers take over the stage at local high school, wow audience

The Mount Waddington Highland Dancing Association hosted its annual Celtic Celebration at the Port Hardy Secondary School this year on Saturday, June 1.

Teresa Engel curates the entire Celtic Celebration show, and she sewed a number of the kilts and other outfits that were seen on stage. She is assisted by Jennifer Barolet, who teaches one day a week in Port Hardy.

The Celtic Celebration has been running for nearly 20 years, with dancers ranging in age from three to 21-years-old.
