Port McNeill Figure Skating Club competes down island in Victoria

Numerous local skaters won awards at the competition

The Port McNeill Figure Skating Club travelled down island in February to compete at the 2024 Vancouver Island Regionals in Victoria.

Results are as follows:

Makenna Gabrysh won silver in the Star 2 Group 2;

Kassidy Middlemiss won bronze in the Star 2 Group 6;

Eva Halls won silver in the Star 2 Group 7;

Peyton Woo won silver in the Star 2 Group 8;

Halle Middlemiss won bronze in Star 2 Group 10;

Ava Miesler won silver in the Star 2 Group 11;

Alexandra Strain won silver;

Sierra Watson won silver;

Taylor McAstocker placed third in the Star 6 Group 1;

Maia Gabrysh placed first in the Star 4 U10;

Sophia Von Schilling placed second in the Star 4 U13;

Myra Weber placed fifth in the Star 4 U13;

Kylie Macgregor placed third in the Star 4 U13; and

Adyson McAstocker placed first in her division.
