Texmo, Anna Marie
Born April 5, 1940 in Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Anna passed away peacefully March 18, 2004 with loving family by her side. Anna (nee Lussier) spent her early years in Man xmo in 1959. They and their 6 boys lived happily on their farm until 1977, when they moved to Port Hardy, BC. In 1995, Anna and Jerry retired to Merritt where they have resided?since. Anna was employed at the Springfield Leader in Lac du Bonnet and was a longtime employee of the North Island Gazette. She surrounded herself with literature, her love of which she passed on to all of her sons, broadening their horizons and enriching their lives. Affectionately known as Mooma, her warm and caring personality always made others feel they were a part of the family , and she never hesitated to tuck them under her wing. Her love of all things living touched everyone who knew her. A recent deterioration in health limited her activities, but she was always content in her garden.
Predeceased by parents Louise Simone and Emile, one brother and an infant sister. Survived by devoted husband of 44 years, Charles (Jerry ) Texmo, and family Darrell (Vi-Anne), Mark (Peggy), Rick (Jacqueline), Ian (Esther), Erik (Angela), Rory (Carol), and grandchildren Jennafer, Brian, Gary, Scott, Steven, Sarah, Gavin, Marinda, Emily, Lacey, Jodi, Rachelle, Jocelyne, Marie, Danielle, Jean-Paul, Nick, and Chelsea, 3 brothers, 7 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
