In loving memory of Blair.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Blair Marshall after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Blair was predeceased by his father Jim Marshall on March 11, 2017. He will be forever remembered by his loving and devoted wife Tanya, son Drayson, Tanya's children Tori and Dylan (Lisa), Blair's mother Maxine Marshall, sister Shelley (Dan) and their children Kyle, Caitlin and Sarah, as well as extended family and friends.

Blair was born and raised in Victoria and spent his teenage years commercial fishing with his father on the west coast of Vancouver Island. He has lived in the community of Port Hardy for the past twenty five years where he was able to enjoy his absolute passion for fishing. Blair found his niche as an extremely talented welding fabricator and designer and owned and operated his own successful business in Port Hardy. He took great pride in his craft, meticulous attention to every detail, and strived to set the highest standards for himself. Nothing but the best would do! Blair was also a fabulous cook who loved to entertain and be surrounded by friends and family.

A very special thank you to Dr. Lee, Tracy Lamming, and the staff of the Port Hardy hospital and all the wonderful doctors in Campbell River and Victoria for their exceptional care and support throughout Blair's illness.

Blair, we all love you and you will be missed tremendously; you will be forever in our hearts. Keep those hooks sharp!

A celebration of life will be hosted by Blair's family at a date to be determined.

Those who so desire may make a memorial donation in Blair's name to Habitat for Humanity http://www.habitatglobalvillage.ca or to our North Island Cancer Support Group, send to P.O. Box 2186, Port Hardy, BC, V0N 2P0 or donate in person at the Coastal Community Credit Union in Port Hardy.
