Passed away suddenly in Port Alice, British Columbia, at age 47, on July 1, 2002. Previously lived in Grand Falls, Newfoundland. Predeceased by his parents, Elizabeth and Simeon. Left with loving memories, four sisters and two brothers. Christine Hickman, Dorothy Westaway, Sarah Budgell (Freeman), Elizabeth Lemay (Renaud), Robert Hedges, Peter Hedges (Barbara). A number of special aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also, a large circle of friends, including his special friends, Tom, Teresa and Heather MacKenzie and Philip Skorupka.
Memorial services will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Grand Falls, Newfoundland, as well as a service held at St. John’s Ecumenical Church in Port Alice, British Columbia on Friday, June 5 at 11:00 am. Following the church service, there will be a celebration of Eddie’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #180.
Donations in British Columbia can be made in Eddie’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
