Lisa was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
At the age of 20 she married the love of her life, Dave Smart, and airman in the RCAF and at 21 moved to Canada. They had 4 children.
Mom embraced the adventure of moving to new places and meeting new people.
Mom and Dad moved to Port Hardy in 1975 and put down solid roots. No more roaming around the country.
Mom endured many trials in her life, a car accident as a child, growing up in war torn Germany, some health problems and then the car accident in 2015. No matter what, she always lived life with a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
Keeping her memory alive are Nancy (Frank), Michael (Sherri), Alan (Janette), Susan (Tony), 9 Grandchildren, Kelly-Ann, Amber, Warren, Evan, Gareth, Rheann, Cole, Jamie, and Dustin. 7 Great grandchildren, Elisa, Kiana, Mason, Ryker, Abigale, Finn and Maxwell. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
