Evelyn Elizabeth Guldager

It is with great sadness that the Guldager family announces the sudden passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend Evelyn Elizabeth Guldager. Evelyn passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Port McNeill Hospital. Evelyn was a long time resident of Woss, BC. She was born in Port Alberni, BC and raised in Errington, BC where she met and married her husband of 41 years Art Sr.
During their years together Evelyn and Art Sr. had two wonderful boys Art Jr. and James. They lived in various North Island logging communities, settling in Woss, BC in 1989 making this their home. Evelyn enjoyed being an active member of her community participating in bingos, bazaars and other community events. Evelyn loved watching her boys grow up hunting, fishing, and eventually starting their own families. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Evelyn is survived by Art Sr., her husband of 41 years, her sons Art Jr. (Sheila) of Woss, BC and James (Carlene) of Port Alberni, BC and grandchildren Madison, Macey, Thalina and Elias. Evelyn is also survived by her sisters, her brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Family would like to offer our sincere thanks and appreciation for the care given to Evelyn in her last days by the staff of the Port McNeill Hospital. By request there will be no service.
