Born April 14, 1917 in Kopernick Alberta, Mike passed away peacefully March 17th, 2006 at the George Derby Veterans Centre in Burnaby.
Predeceased by his wife Caroline, his daughter Diane Nicholson, three brothers and four sisters. Mike is survived by his sons Mel (Marlene), Ron (Anita), son-in-law Mel, six granchildren, nine greatgrandchildren, one brother and four sisters.
Mike was a resident of Coal Harbour for over forty years and was involved in many community organizations.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Port Hardy at 12 o’clock on Saturday April 8th, 2006.
