It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our friend and neighbour. Paul passed away in a Winnipeg hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by the love and support of his family. He was predeceased by his sister, Valerie, and his father, John. Paul leaves behind his mother, Evelyn, his daughter Brianna, son Nathan, brother Terry, and several grandchildren whom he adored.

Paul loved being outdoors fishing, boating, and camping. He could often be found at the golf course perfecting his technique (compared to a little old lady swatting at a bee with a broom). Nothing interfered with his love of the Vancouver Canucks and BC Lions. During a game, he was usually at home surrounded by friends, coaching the game from his living room. If we were lucky he would play his guitar, filling the house (and our hearts) with music. He believed in justice and fair play, and his work with CUPE helped countless workers enjoy a better life. At Paulís request, no service will be held.

We love you, ìPuttsî. May there be too many birds to count, may your rivers always flow clear and free, and your birdies always be eagles. Weíll miss you Ö ìsee you later, Neighbourî. Love your friends, your neighbours, and your family.
