Paul Victor Shields, better known as Uncle Paul, passed away while fishing on the 23rd of July 2002. Paul was predeceased by his father Douglas Shields in 1986 and brother Blair in 1990. He is survived by his loving family, Jim and Helen Palmer and sister Dawn, his extended family, the Christiansons and many friends. A memorial will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 at 1:00pm at the Legion in Alert Bay.
