Shiels (Wiitala) Rita Maria
Born October 6, 1936 in Alert Bay, BC passed away October 13, 2002 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Comox, BC from pneumonia due to multiple sclerosis.
Rita is survived by her husband Elgin, daughter Dolores (Philip), Clifford, Andrea, Leanna, Janine, Kurt, great grandson Jacob, son Carl (Shelley), Bryanna, Janelle, Jamie, Mandy, daughter Deborah (Rick), Justin, Jonathon and Cameron.
Service was held on October 19, 2002 in Sointula, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations were made to Sointula cemetery or UBC MS Research Centre.
