God saw you getting tired, when a tear was not to be.
So he closed his arms around you,
And whispered, “Come to Me.”
The last year was a trying time to go through
So he gave you a rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
How little we thought that morning
What sorrow that day would bring
When your heart of gold stopped beating
Each time we see your picture
You seem to smile & say
Don’t cry I’m only resting
We’ll meet again someday
It breaks our hearts to lose you
For part of us went with you
That day God called you home
But when we seen you sleeping
So peaceful and free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again
—Love from all
Bye for now
