Violet May Johnston

Born June 7, 1905, on Harbledown Island, BC to Maria and Kenneth McCrimmon.
Violet passed away peacefully on January 19, 2007 at Queen’s Park Care Center, New Westminster, BC.
She was predeceased by her husband Tommy and 2 sons William Duncan and Leo Savadra. Survived by son Jack Parker, Delta; daughter Anita (Herb), New Westminster; brother Fred Joliffe; stepdaughter Phyllis Pedersen, Alert Bay; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, 1 great, great, great, great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and many great friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 3 at 2pm at First Memorial Funeral Services: 602 Kingsway, Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Fong and 2-West staff at Queen’s Park Care Center for their gentle, loving care of our mother and grandmother.
