William (Bill) Pearson passed away Feb. 19/05 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill is survived by his wife Janice of 38 years, son Grant (Karen), three grandchildren; Daniel, Emily and Nathan, brothers; Robert (Esther), Douglas (Irene). He is also survived by nieces Cherie (Rene), Darcie (Kelly) and Jennifer as well as nephews Darren, Elliott and Brendan, as well as numerous cousins.
Bill worked for the BC Forest Service retiring in 1997 after 35 years. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Bill’s interests were in the arts and playing trumpet with the North Island Community Band, as well as golfing and fishing.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by all. Memorial service to be held at St. Helen’s Anglican Church, Surrey, BC, Monday, March 7. Reception following in church hall. An open house will be held in Port Hardy at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to BC Cancer Fund.
