A popular Father’s Day tradition in British Columbia returned for the 18 year, June 16 – 18.
Family Fishing Weekend is a way for families to spend quality time together while enjoying a popular outdoor pastime.
And, with the fishing licence requirement waived for the weekend, families got a break on the cost as well.
Free events were held throughout the weekend, including fishing activities for everyone ranging from those new to fishing, to families who would like a fishing basics refresher to people simply interested in joining a fun group activity.
