The Town of Port McNeill will be presenting a flag to participants of the Wounded Warrior Run.
Port McNeill council was asked if they would like to donate a flag signed by council and staff and they were happy to oblige.
The Wounded Warrior Run, which raises awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, kicks off at 6 a.m. on Feb. 15 in Carrot Park in Port Hardy. The flag will be presented at that time.
Day one will see the Run make its way from Port Hardy, to Port McNeill and then to Rooney Lake.
The event ends six days later in Victoria.
