Port McNeill’s Chilton Regional Arena suffered a case of divided loyalties last week as the Vancouver Canucks battled local hero Willie Mitchell and his L.A. Kings in the first round of the NHL playoffs, promoting each on opposing sides of its sign. After the Canucks bowed out in Sunday’s overtime loss in Game 5, their side of the sign was modified.
