Kevin Laird

I have been a journalist for more than 40 years, covering a range of roles from reporter to editor and editorial manager. My experiences have taken me through various publications, including the Calgary Sun and Lethbridge Herald, where I've dedicated myself to delivering meaningful stories to the public.

Currently, I hold the position of editor at the Sooke News Mirror. My goal in this role is to fortify our community by providing readers with dependable, timely and accurate information about the matters, individuals and businesses that hold significance in Sooke. It's my passion to contribute to the well-being of the community by connecting people through the power of reliable news and storytelling.
